New York Giants: Which players will suffer most with no preseason

4.  QB Daniel Jones

Finally, a non-rookie is on the list. It goes without saying that Daniel Jones has already exceeded the expectations that many had placed on him after being drafted sixth overall in 2019 by the New York Giants. Personally, I had extremely low expectations and thought of him as a third-round pick.

While Jones was statistically-sound minus turnovers issues, he has an almost completely new offensive line this year. That will likely be the largest issue for Jones as opposed to him being directly impacted by the COVID-demolished preseason cancellation.

An offensive line that will not have proper time to gel and prepare together in live games will almost definitely put Jones in harm’s way more often than expected.
