2. Rushing Attack

The NY Giants rushing offense during week one was flat out pathetic. On 15 rushing attempts, former number two overall pick Saquon Barkley gained a total of six yards and was hit at or behind the line of scrimmage on 11 of those carries.

The Chicago Bears struggled mightily against Adrian Peterson at times last week. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that the Giants could see some success on the ground with Saquon Barkley. Giving up 4.8 yards per carry to the Detroit Lions should mean that the Giants could open some room to run for Saquon Barkley.

The next x-factor will go a little bit more in-depth as to how the NY Giants can take advantage of that.
