After starting off the year 0-3, Las Vegas Oddsmakers have made the NY Giants massive underdogs in their Week 4 contest against the LA Rams.

The NY Giants are coming off of their worst loss in recent memory after getting lambasted by the banged-up San Fransisco 49ers and Las Vegas Oddsmakers have taken notice.

According to the Action Network, the NY Giants are 13-point underdogs in their Week 4 matchup against the LA Rams at the brand new SoFi Stadium.

The Rams have gotten off to a 2-1 start in 2020, beating two of the NY Giants’ NFC East Rivals – the Eagles and Cowboys – in the process. Their win against the Cowboys came in their home opener where the defense pitched an impressive effort, holding the explosive Dallas offense to just 17 points.

The Rams have been extremely balanced so far this season as they rank 7th in points scored and 13th in points allowed. Their passing offense has been terrific so far as they lead the league with a gaudy 8.9 yards-per-attempt which figures to give the Big Blue defense all kinds of trouble.

Additionally, LA has surprised many by getting off to a hot start running the football as the team has the third-most rushing yards (511) and second-most rushing TD’s (6) in the NFL. The Giants’ rushing defense was supposed to be a strong point for the 2020 squad but the unit is only ranked 20th in the league.

All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald has gotten off to a torrid start, racking up 3 sacks and 4 tackles-for-loss over the first three games. NY Giants’ center Nick Gates hasn’t been great early on during his transition to his new position and head coach Joe Judge and offensive coordinator will have to figure out a way to get him some help or Daniel Jones will be in for a long day.

The 13-point number is the largest on the entire Week 4 board, as oddsmakers clearly have lost any respect they had for the NY Giants after their terrible start and the loss of superstar running back Saquon Barkley.
