How to watch the Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys in a pivotal NFC East clash

The Giants seek their first win of the season when quarterback Daniel Jones, tight end Evan Engram, and head coach Joe Judge take on quarterback Dak Prescott, wide receiver Amari Cooper, and running back Ezekiel Elliott at 4:25 p.m. Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium on CBS.

With the Eagles sitting atop the NFC East standings at 1-2-1, the Cowboys (1-3) can keep pace in the division standings, while the Giants (0-4) could finish the weekend in second place with a victory and a Washington Football Team loss.

However, if the Giants are going to finally pick up head coach Joe Judge‘s first career victory, second-year quarterback Daniel Jones is going to need to prove he can protect the football. Through the first four games of the season, Jones has already tossed five interceptions, including one the Giants’ final possession at around the five-yard line in the waning moments of a 17-9 loss.

Entering Sunday, the Giants have gone two full games without scoring a touchdown, and are averaging a league-low 11.7 points per game.

But, Sunday might finally be the week Jones and the offense get on track. Dallas’ defense has been a sieve, allowing a league-high 36.5 points per game, including 49 to the Cleveland Browns in last Sunday’s loss.

For the Giants defense, surrendering 24 points per game so far this season, the biggest key will be keeping Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott under wraps. Prescott is averaging 422.5 passing yards per game and has already tossed nine touchdowns.
