K Graham Gano

Gano, signed by the Giants back in August, has been worth every penny and then some.

Last week against the Dallas Cowboys was Gano’s strongest performance of the season, but also emblematic of his consistency and value to what has been an otherwise inept offense. Gano was four-for-four against the Cowboys, including making kicks from 50 and 55 yards.

Through five games, Gano is 13-of-14, including four-of-five from 50-plus yards.

“Every time I’ve had Graham, he’s been the same guy,” Giants special teams coach Thomas McGaughey said. “He’s super consistent in how he prepares, what he does in his daily routine, and it just manifests itself on the field.”

The Giants have been a bit of a revolving door at kicker, particularly after Aldrick Rosas’ dramatic regression in 2019. Gano has provided much-needed consistency, and accounted for 43 of the Giants’ 81 points this season.
