Round 6 pick, LB – Cam Brown

Brown, the Giants’ sixth-round pick out of Penn State, was the first of three linebackers chosen during the draft and could have the first chance to vault up the depth chart with Lorenzo Carter out for the season.

To date, Brown’s most significant playing time has come on special teams where he’s appeared in 77 snaps with both of his tackles coming during last Sunday’s game. He’s also played two defensive snaps.

Brown, 6-foot-5 and 223 pounds, showed plenty of versatility during his time in Happy Valley both as a pass-rusher and at inside linebacker. Sunday against the Washington Football Team could present Brown’s best opportunity yet to see meaningful snaps on defense.
