Predictions, picks for Sunday’s NFC East clash between NY Giants and the Washington Football Team in Week 6 of the NFL season

When the NY Giants host the Washington Football Team on Sunday at MetLife Stadium, no one is going to confuse this game for the Super Bowl.

The division rivals, who combine for just one of the NFC East’s four wins through 20 games so far this season, both are in various stages of rebuilding.

Ron Rivera fields a team trying to figure out what direction they are heading in at quarterback, with a menacing and swarming defensive front capable of giving offensive lines fits. Meanwhile, the Giants’ offensive line has been a mess through five games, second-year quarterback Daniel Jones has shown little signs of building on his optimism-inspiring rookie campaign, but Joe Judge has his team playing hard despite opening 2020 with five straight losses.

“Regardless of the record, we’re coming back to work and we’re working on being an improved team,” Judge said Wednesday. “Day by day and week by week. Everyone has to coach better, everyone has to play better. There’s not a single aspect of our performance that we don’t want to improve on. No matter how good it may be compared to where it was in Week 1, it has to be much better by Week 16. We have to keep improving as a team.”

Will the Giants improve enough to pick up Judge’s first win as an NFL head coach on Sunday?
