X-factor #2: Logan Ryan

Logan Ryan must overcome what has been another difficult week for him as he returned home to New Jersey for his 8th NFL season. Logan tackled Dak Prescott on the play he suffered a gruesome season-ending ankle injury in Dallas this past Sunday.

Ryan has been one of the few, but quiet bright spots for the this NY Giants team this year. His steady and proven play on the field speaks for itself as does his character and influence as a leader in the locker room and in the secondary.

Logan has to hope that with his guidance his secondary will find some better play and a traditional rotation instead of throwing reps to several unproven players. At some point, the team’s cornerbacks and safeties have to come together and start playing better complementary defense.

Logan has been quiet in the stat sheet so far this year. Look for that to change this Week 6.
