GMEN HQ: The Giants beat the Redskins in a December win last year to drop 2 spots in the 2020 NFL Draft order. This allowed Washington to jump NY, allowing them to take Chase Young at #2 overall. How do you expect the Chase Young-Andrew Thomas matchup to go Sunday?

Riggo’s Rag: I would firmly expect Young to do very well in this matchup. He has been excellent for Washington and has looked pro-ready in his first NFL season. He and Montez Sweat could be one of the NFL’s best pass-rushing tandems for years to come, and I think both should find success against Andrew Thomas.

So far, Thomas hasn’t been great for the Giants based on what I’ve seen. Several other rookie tackles (Mekhi Becton, Jedrick Wills, Tristian Wirfs) have played better than him, so I anticipate that he may have issues with Young.
