Daniel Jones’ best throw of the day

Situation: 3rd and 6 from the Washington 23-yard line, with the NY Giants winning 3-0, with 1:41 remaining in the first quarter.

After settling for a field goal their first drive of the game, Daniel Jones and the NY Giants’ offense needed a stop to build an early lead.

James Bradberry stepped up and made a huge interception to give Jones and the offense a very short field.

The offense responded, with Jones hitting Darius Slayton on a perfect 23-yard touchdown strike in the right corner of the end zone. Slayton got a clean release off the line and Daniel hit him with a beautiful dart right over the defender’s head and right into Slayton’s hands for six.

This was the NY Giants only touchdown of the day. It ended a franchise-worst four game drought with no passing touchdowns.
