The NY Giants (0-5), led by quarterback Daniel Jones, wide receiver Darius Slayton, and cornerback James Bradberry, host quarterback Kyle Allen, running back Antonio Gibson, and the Washington Football Team (1-4) on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. at MetLife Stadium in an NFL Week 6 game on FOX.

For the first time this season, the NY Giants are favored, and this might be head coach Joe Judge’s best chance yet to secure his first career win.

However, the Giants’ chances against their division rivals largely depend on stopping Washington rookie defensive end Chase Young, the latest of the elite pass rushers to line up opposite Giants first-round pick Andrew Thomas.

Thomas has gone through the ringer — and growing pains — against the likes of the Steelers’ T.J. Watt, Chicago Bears’ Khalil Mack, and Dallas Cowboys defensive end Demarcus Lawrence last week.

Friday, Thomas offered a glowing scouting report of Young, chosen two spots ahead of him this spring, and the rest of Washington’s dominant front.

“Obviously, very talented guy,” Thomas said. “But not just him. Their whole front, I think, is like five first round draft picks. It’s going to be a good matchup for our tackles and our inside guys. It’s going to be a good game.”
