NY Giants quarterback Daniel Jones unfurled maybe the most impressive throw of his career early in Sunday’s game against the Washington Football Team.
Three plays after Giants cornerback James Bradberry pulled down his second interception of the season, off Washington quarterback Kyle Allen, Jones dropped a perfectly placed pass to Darius Slayton for a 23-yard touchdown with 1:36 remaining in the first quarter.
Jones’ touchdown pass to Slayton was his third of the season — all three to Slayton, and extended the Giants’ lead to 10-0.
Slayton has now caught 16 passes for 159 yards and three touchdowns.
The Giants are in search of their first win of the season, against head coach Ron Rivera’s 1-5 Washington Football Team.
