NY Giants WR Sterling Shepard will return against the Eagles on Thursday night
He’s back.
NY Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard will play Thursday night against the Eagles, after testing his toe injury during pre-game warm ups at Lincoln Financial Field.
In addition to Shepard, the Giants also activated wide receiver Alex Bachman and linebacker Trent Harris to the 53-man roster.
Shepard returned to practice for the first time this week after being placed on injured reserve when he suffered turf toe against the Chicago Bears back in Week 2.
Prior to getting injured, Shepard caught eight passes for 76 yards . However, Shepard has feasted on the Eagles in his career, catching 44 passes for 524 yards and four touchdowns in eight games.
