OG Shane Lemiuex over Will Hernandez

It will be rookie Shane Lemieux making his first career start Monday night in place of Hernandez.

The Giants went with Lemieux over veteran interior lineman Spencer Pulley and practice squad lineman Chad Slade.

In four seasons at Oregon, Lemieux, 6-foot-3 and 316 pounds, allowed 11 pressures and 11 sacks. However, the former Duck is about to face significantly tougher competition.

Lemieux’s only two prior snaps this season came as a blocking fullback and will get a baptism by fire of sorts against the Buccaneers’ front-seven that includes Ndamakong Suh, Jason Pierre-Paul, Devin White, and Shaq Barrett.
