NY Giants: analyzing 3 potential lineup changes vs. Buccaneers
Isaac Yiadom at CB for Ryan Lewis
Outside cornerback has been a revolving door for the Giants for much of the past three seasons, and it will be yet another new face starting opposite James Bradberry on Monday night.
Ryan Lewis was a late addition to the Giants’ injury report Sunday, listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury. If Lewis is unable to go, and all indications are that it is unlikely he will play, it could be Isaac Yiadom making his third start of the season.
Yiadom previously replaced second-year cornerback Corey Ballentine, who also has two prior starts this season.
This has been a disastrous season for the Giants’ secondary, with second-round rookie defensive back Xavier McKinney sidelined since fracturing his foot during training camp, Adrian Colbert missing the past two games due to a shoulder injury, and rookie Darnay Holmes’ wildly inconsistent performance.
If Bradberry travels with Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans, it will likely come down to Yiadom containing Scotty Miller on the other side.
