5. Best Game By The Defense This Season

The Giants weren’t even supposed to be competitive in this game. Instead, Big Blue led for a good chunk of the game. A big part of that is because of Gettleman’s “hog molly” defensive line.

The defensive front really controlled the line of scrimmage, limiting Tampa Bay’s run game all night. The defense rattled Tom Brady so much they showed him slamming his helmet on the sideline.

Keeping up with one of the best offenses in the league is something positive the Giants can build upon for the future.
