Despite losing to the Eagles three weeks ago, the NY Giants enter as only slight underdogs in pivotal NFC East clash Sunday

Sunday’s clash between the NY Giants and Philadelphia Eagles at 1:00 p.m. at MetLife Stadium has massive implications in terms of shaping the NFC East race over the final seven weeks, and oddsmakers don’t see much difference in the teams.

The Eagles opened as 3.5 point road favorites over the Giants on Monday for Sunday’s game at MetLife Stadium.

Week 10 marks the second time in three weeks that the NFC East rivals met, after the Giants and Eagles played to a 22-21 Philadelphia victory at Lincoln Financial Field back in Week 7 on Thursday Night Football.

That night, the Giants coughed up a 14-3 fourth quarter lead, but have moved to within 1.5 games of the NFC East lead after toppling the Washington Football Team Sunday afternoon at FedExField, 23-20.

The Eagles enter Sunday’s game at 3-4-1, while the Giants aim to pick up their third win of the season, at 2-7, currently in fourth place in the division standings.
