Logan Ryan sacks Wentz, intercepts him

Last Sunday, it was Giants safety Jabrill Peppers with the hat trick — a fumble recovery, sack, and interception, while Logan Ryan sealed the Giants’ victory with an interception in the waning moments off Washington Football Team Alex Smith. I think Ryan’s hot streak continues against the Eagles.

In the first meeting between these teams, Ryan had five total tackles and a pass breakup, but he seems to have expanded his role in recent weeks.

As Giants defensive coordinator Patrick Graham has thrown the playbook open in recent weeks with some exotic safety and cornerback blitzes, it wouldn’t be a surprise if this week it’s Ryan who comes screaming off the edge on a blitz or drops deep into zone coverage after showing a pre-snap man look and tricking Wentz into mistakes.

I think there’s a legitimate chance that Ryan pulls down an interception, and pulls down Wentz for a sack in this one.
