Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys lost Byron Jones in free agency, when the talented defensive back signed with the Miami Dolphins back in March, and Dallas’ defense has been a sieve all season.

Starting outside cornerback Anthony Brown has just one pass breakup, and according to Pro Football Focus has a coverage grade of just 46.4 and opposing quarterbacks have a passer rating of 100.5 when targeting him.

While Baker took his lumps in coverage as a rookie and seemed to be swimming in the Giants’ scheme last season, he was viewed ahead of the 2019 NFL Draft as one of the top cornerbacks in a loaded class of prospects at the position.

If the Cowboys signed Baker, they would also have the chance to gather some intel about the Giants wide receivers that Baker spent last season practicing against, ahead of the meeting between the division rivals in Week 17.
