Andrew Thomas – Dud

Thomas took a step back against the Eagles.

On the Giants’ first play from scrimmage, Thomas was bull-rushed into Daniel Jones’ lap by Derek Barnett, who wound up picking a sack. It was the sixth sack surrendered by Thomas in his 10th career game.

Then, on what would have been a Daniel Jones touchdown run to extend the Giants’ lead to at last 23-21 with 8:56 remaining, Thomas was called for a blatant holding penalty against Eagles defensive lineman Josh Sweat.

The prior two games, Thomas looked to be improving, thanks in part to returning to the techniques he used at Georgia to become the No. 4 overall pick in the NFL Draft, but Sunday was more of the familiar struggles for Thomas.
