These 5 free agents likely won’t return to the NY Giants next season

The NY Giants have focused on rebuilding through the NFL Draft, but made several marquee free agent signings over the past two years to fortify the young core of the roster with veteran players, particularly with the arrival of first-time head coach Joe Judge last winter.

Some of the signings made by general manager Dave Gettleman, such as kicker Graham Gano, inside linebacker Blake Martinez, and cornerback James Bradberry each have been integral to the Giants’ improvement this season and appear to be cornerstones for 2021 and beyond.

However, some of the moves made by Gettleman in recent years simply haven’t panned out.

Whether Gettleman returns as general manager this offseason remains an open question, largely dependent on how the Giants finish this season in the woebegone NFC East.

But, regardless of who makes up the front office’s brain trust, there are several veterans who seem earmarked for the open market this March when the new league year begins.
