DT Dexter Lawrence needs to continue his dominance alongside Leonard Williams and Dalvin Tomlinson

Dexter Lawrence has excelled in his role on the Giants since he was chosen 17th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft.

According to PFF, the former first round pick ranks among the top ten in the league for total tackles and sacks so far this season.

At 6’4″ and 342 pounds, his formidable combination of size, strength, and agility allow him to be a run-stopper up the middle while giving him the ability to burst through offensive lines. Aside from his physical presence up front, he’s fortified the defensive line while producing 33 combined tackles and 3.0 sacks.

At this pace, he could improve on his stats during his rookie campaign last year when he accumulated 35 combined tackles and 5.5 sacks. Considering the Giants will be battling in each of their final 6 games, it’s likely the intensity Lawrence and the defense will be playing with will create many opportunities for the young defensive end to make big plays.
