CB Isaac Yiadom needs to lock down the other cornerback position

Giants fans know what they’re getting with CB James Bradberry and his elite performances week-in and week-out. And because of Bradberry, the Giants secondary is leagues better than last year’s squad.

However, it’s Bradberry’s counterpart on the right side of the cornerback position that will be make or break the Giants’ playoff run against teams outside of their division.

While opposing quarterbacks have turned to throwing to the opposite side of Bradberry, it’s critical Yiadom refines his game since it looks like he is getting a look targets with Bradberry on the other side of the field.

The Giants acquired Isaac Yiadom from the Denver Broncos in a late offseason move that at the time signaled a depth-add to their cornerback position. Since then, he’s risen to the top of the bunch to support Bradberry – who’s surely destined for a Pro-Bowl selection this year – on the other side of the field.

While Bradberry’s stellar cornerback play is critical to Giants making the postseason in the backfield every week, it’s his counterpart on the right side of the cornerback position that will be make or break the Giants’ playoff run against teams outside of their division.
