Round 2: Seth Williams – WR, Auburn

Size: 6-foot-3, 211 pounds

2020 stats: 33 catches for 563 yards, 3 touchdowns

Williams is the kind of explosive playmaker the Giants need to be surrounding quarterback Daniel Jones with, and perhaps an ideal complement to deep-threat Darius Slayton.

Not only does Williams have the breakaway speed to stretch the field, as illustrated by his 17.1 yards per reception as a junior, but he’s also elite with pulling down contested passes, which could make him an asset for Jones and the Giants red zone offense.

Adding Williams to the Giants’ arsenal would put every route in the tree into the playbook inside the 20-yard line, whether it’s a fade or a slant, or skinny post, and given his physicality to fight off defenders along with his leaping ability he might just supplant Slayton — a former teammate at Auburn, as Jones’ favorite target.
