Round 3: Josh Myers – C, Ohio State

Size: 6-foot-5, 315 pounds

The Giants will likely use the final six games of the season to determine whether Nick Gates is the long-term solution at center. But, after selecting left tackle Andrew Thomas No. 4 overall last April, New York would be prudent to add a blue chip center to anchor the rebuilt offensive line in front of Jones.

Myers would probably fit that bill.

With the length of an offensive tackle, and the physicality of a mauler in the running game, Myers is a matchup nightmare for most interior defensive linemen. In the running game, Myers does a nice job of quickly getting to the second-level, and is a proven pass-protector based on his ability to help create a clean pocket for Justin Fields.

If available in this spot, Myers would be an ideal addition to the Giants’ offensive line as a long-term solution at center or even providing depth at guard.
