GMEN HQ: How do you expect Brandon Allen to play in his first game since 2019? How will Zach Taylor use him?

Stripe Hype:

It’s still up for debate who will get the start between Brandon Allen and Ryan Finley. I know there were reports that Allen got the nod but since then players and even Taylor have said they aren’t revealing who will get the start.

I expect the offense to be relatively the same with either Finley or Allen under center. You can take a look at the way Sean McVay runs his offense out on the west coast to get a better idea of what to expect from the Bengals this week.

Taylor spent some time with Allen in that system and that’s what they’re both comfortable with. You have to believe they think running that scheme gives them the best shot at winning. I anticipate a lot of quick throws to mitigate the rush as well.
