Immediately it looked like this could be Evan Engram‘s breakout game.

Engram’s big 53-yard catch on third and two to set up New York within the five-yard line led to an early lead. Just a few plays later, however, Engram coughed up the ball and set up a Cincinnati field goal. Engram finished the game as New York’s top receiver with six receptions for 129 yards.

It’s been such a rocky relationship with the tight end. For years, he has been hyped up about his potential, however, we are still waiting for a breakout game from Engram.

This could’ve been it, but the turnover looms large in a game that was this close.

It’s good to see Engram remained confident for the remainder of the game and added when his team’s offense really needed him to step up.
