In the third quarter, every Giants fan held their breath. Daniel Jones stood up and immediately fell down to one knee. Jones was taken to the medical tent on the sidelines and Colt McCoy entered in his absence.

Jones came back in to start the next Giants’ drive, unfortunately, it was clear he was still less than one hundred percent. He quickly limped off the field after attempting a pass to Evan Engram that was nearly intercepted.

The severity was immediately unclear, but the Giants chose to be safe and keep Jones out for the remainder of the game. Jones remained standing on the sidelines, looking to be there for his teammates. The Giants need Jones to be healthy to remain atop the NFC East.
