Somehow the New York Giants are at the top of the division.

When you think about how bad the NFC East is it makes more sense. Despite having an awful 4-7 record, the New York Giants are in a position to go to the playoffs.

New York is on a three-game winning streak, but those wins came against Washington, Philadelphia, and Cincinnati. While it’s not the toughest stretch of games, the Giants showed a lot of promise.

The Giants’ defense has really played well with Dave Gettleman’s additions of Blake Martinez, James Bradberry, and Logan Ryan proving to be some of the most underrated moves by a team.  The Giants have been able to get to opposing quarterbacks and have been winning the turnover battle in recent weeks. That was evident at the end of this game as Jabaal Sheard strip-sacked Brandon Allen with the ball recovered by Leonard Williams.
