Devlin Hodges – Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad

Hodges might be the most experienced option available off another team’s practice squad.

Last season, Hodges appeared in eight games (including six starts) for the Pittsburgh Steelers, while completing 62.5 percent of his passes for 1,063 yards with five touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Pittsburgh was 3-3 in games that Hodges started last season. If nothing else, Hodges has appeared in meaningful games.

Given that Hodges is essentially the No. 4 quarterback option behind Ben Roethlisberger and Josh Dobbs, it’s unlikely that the Steelers would protect Hodges or that he would elect to turn down the Giants’ overtures to sign him.
