DL Leonard Williams – STUD

Leonard Williams’ dominant season continued Sunday.

On 2nd down and 10 from the Giants’ 47-yard line, Williams bull rushed up the middle, pushing his man essentially into the lap of Bengals quarterback Brandon Allen for the sack. It was Williams’ sixth sack of the season.

Williams finished with two tackles and one sack, and each week continues to play at a level where he looks more and more like a cornerstone piece of the Giants’ rebuilt defense.

If Williams continues to play at as high a level as he has in recent weeks, it is going to be mighty difficult for the Giants to allow him to walk via free agency, after signing him to the franchise tag this season.
