DE Niko Lalos – STUD

Niko Lalos dropped back into coverage and made a diving interception with :32 remaining in the third quarter, that proved to be a pivotal moment in Sunday’s game.

Lalos was just elevated from the practice squad to the 53-man roster on Sunday morning, and pulled down his first career interception. Later, Lalos helped force a fumble that Logan Ryan recovered in the fourth quarter.

The Giants’ defense was stifling against the pass on Sunday, holding Bengals quarterback Brandon Allen to just 136 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

Lalos’ interception halted a promising Cincinnati drive and tilted the field position back in the Giants’ favor.
