The Giants’ defense has been playing well for weeks now, but this was the performance needed to make people buy-in. New York’s pass rush came alive today. Leonard Williams has proven to be deserving of last season’s trade. Williams had 2.5 sacks on the day, totaling 8.5 for the season.  Jabrill Peppers wanted to show that he wants to be in the conversation for top safety, delivering a sack today similar to Seattle’s safety Jamal Adams. Adams leads all safeties with 7.5 sacks, but Peppers got to show Adams anything he can do, he can do too.

This is one of the best games for New York’s defense in years. When they needed a stop, they got it.

This young and confident group of Giants’ defenders made Russell Wilson’s day incredibly laborious.
