NY Giants’ Daniel Jones OUT for Sunday’s game vs. Seattle Seahawks

As expected, the NY Giants will be without Daniel Jones for Sunday’s game, after making the second-year quarterback inactive against the Seattle Seahawks due to a hamstring injury suffered last week.

Colt McCoy will start in place of Jones, and the NY Giants elevated quarterback Clayton Thorson from the practice squad. The expectation is that Thorson will serve as the Giants’ emergency quarterback against the Seahawks.

McCoy passed for just 31 yards in just under a half of work against the Bengals.

Jones was officially listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday, after suffering a right hamstring injury in Cincinnati and being unable to practice during the week.

Here are the Giants’ full inactive list:

QB Daniel Jones

WR Dante Pettis

ILB T.J. Brunson

OT Kyle Murphy

OT Jackson Bartton

DE R.J. McIntosh

OLB Trent Harris
