GMEN HQ: What are the key matchups in this game?

Raising Zona:

I want to see how the Cardinals run game stacks up. Last season, Chase Edmonds had quite a day on the Giants ‘D’.

I would love to see how Kenyan Drake performs on Sunday.  Also, I want to see if the Cardinals linebackers and defensive line can get to the quarterback, whoever that may end up being for the Giants.

GMEN HQ:

I agree with Scott about the run game’s impact in this game. Last season, Chase Edmonds ran crazy in his homecoming return to Metlife. He torched NY on the ground to the tune of 126 yards and three touchdowns.

That is inexcusable for any defense, especially to let that up to a third-string running back. The former Fordham running back must be keyed on and stopped along with Kenyan Drake for the NY Giants to win this game.

Also, Big Blue will need to protect off the edge and on the inside of the trenches. Daniel Jones is likely returning this week and will need to be kept upright to stay healthy and have an effective game.
