Sunday, the Giants’ coaching and players utterly failed the organization.
After playing clean, efficient football for four straight weeks, the NY Giants offense completely imploded and had its worst performance since the ugly Week 3 loss at home vs the 49ers. This game had a similar helpless and lifeless feeling to it as the Giants got hit hard from the opening kickoff.
It was a widely disappointing game and the NY Giants blew a huge opportunity to keep control of their destiny and remain in 1st place of the NFC East. Now, all three other NFC East teams won and the Giants lost 1st place to Washington while Dallas and Philadelphia closed their gap on New York to one (or less) games.
