#1. Joe Judge did not put his team in the best position to win Sunday.

With all due respect to Joe Judge, he doomed this team before the game started this week.

After rewatching that game, it was clear Daniel Jones should not have started this game.

Jones looked uncomfortable, unconfident, hesitant, and did not belong on an NFL football field Sunday. After looking back, it was in the team’s best interest to start Colt McCoy especially after he delivered the team’s biggest win in several years.

Now, this isn’t to say Judge made the wrong decision. There was no doubt that he would start this week after taking the majority of snaps in practice and from the limited videos and information that was taken from the Quest Diagnostics Training Center.

However, as the game went on, it was evident that Jones was clearly not as mobile as he typically is, and needs to be to run the offense at its most efficent.

Jones Fumbling on the opening drive didn’t help, but that wasn’t fully his fault, and the line needs to do a much better job than it did Sunday with their pass (and run) blocking.

Judge should have made the clear and obvious decision to pull Jones earlier, as he wasn’t even remotely effective, impactful, or able to move the ball.

Had Jones been pulled in the first or early second half, NY would have had a much better chance to come back and win this game, especially if the game plan reverted to the commitment to the running game that was so effective in recent weeks.

Judge should’ve done what’s best for the team and that would have been making Jones either inactive or pulling him earlier in the game. He clearly wasn’t healthy and he didn’t do much to help the team stay in or win this game.
