You couldn’t ask for more from your rookie left tackle when asking him to defend one of the best pass rushers.

No. 4 overall pick Andrew Thomas drew the tough assignment of protecting Colt McCoy from Myles Garrett.

Sadly, Garrett’s performance has declined this season and it could be attributed to COVID-19. Garrett tested positive last month, but still suffers from lingering symptoms. He admitted that he still has to do breathing treatments four times a day.

It’s clear he is playing less than one hundred percent often looking winded on the field. Garrett did get a sack in the final minute of the game. It looked like a weight was lifted off of his shoulders.
