Round 6, pick No. 198: Adrian Ealy – OT, Oklahoma

The Giants chose a pair of offensive tackles last April, but No. 4 overall pick Andrew Thomas’ inconsistency and the fact that Matt Peart remains a bit of a project underscores the need for depth along the offensive line.

Ealy, 6-foot-6 and 326 pounds was a second-team Pro Football Focus All-Big 12 selection at right tackle.

If the Giants come away with Ealy in the later rounds, he could push Peart for the starting right tackle job opposite Thomas next summer, with the loser of the position battle serving as the Giants’ swing tackle.
