Kwity Paye – DE, Michigan

Kwity Paye is the type of impact defender that could give the Giants’ mediocre pass rush an instant boost. The past two weeks have shown that the Giants’ zone defense philosophies are extremely vulnerable without a dominant pass rush off the edge.

As a senior this season, Paye produced 16 total tackles and two sacks before suffering a season-ending injury in a 27-17 loss to Penn State.

Paye’s athleticism and hands combine to give him a vast pass-rush repertoire, and he has improved as a run-stopper this season, as well. Whether it is putting his hand on the dirt or standing up as an outside linebacker, Paye’s bend and explosiveness give him the ability to be a productive power-rusher that will give offensive tackles fits at the next level.
