Ja’Marr Chase – WR, LSU

Chase has the chance to follow in the footsteps of Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry as former LSU wide receivers who went on to superstardom in the NFL.

At 6-foot-1 and 208 pounds, Chase ran the 40-yard dash in 4.40 seconds, but before opting out this season showed he has the ability to play much faster than his prior time.

Chase averaged an eye-popping 27.2 yards per reception on his 84 catches for 1,780 yards and 20 touchdowns as Joe Burrow’s favorite target in 2019.

The Giants’ offense has been inept and inconsistent in almost all phases this season, averaging the fewest points per game and scoring just one touchdown in their past nine quarters. If the Giants are ever going to compete or make a complete evaluation of quarterback Daniel Jones, they need to surround him with consistently dominant playmakers. Chase absolutely fits that bill and would be difficult to pass up if he’s available.
