Gregory Rousseau – Edge rusher, Miami

The Giants’ misguided belief that a pass rush can be manufactured with dominant defensive line play in place of disruptive players on the edge has been exposed as deeply flawed logic the past three weeks.

Rousseau is a high motor pass rusher who can be a disruptive force either standing up or with his hand on the ground. The Miami standout’s consistent effort also has helped be a better than average run-stopper this season.

As a sophomore, Rousseau produced 54 total tackles, 15.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and one pass breakup last season.

Depending on how the top of the board shakes out, Rousseau might be the highest-graded pass rusher on the board when the Giants go on the clock.
