Round 7, #232 Overall: OT George Asafo-Adjei, Kentucky

“Big George” was a hopeful pick for NY. The team took a chance on his size and athleticism and hoped it would amount to something special.

That dream never played out.

Asafo Adjei was placed on season-ending IR in training camp with a nasty concussion injury. He missed his entire rookie season and essentially took an unofficial medical redshirt season.

Once Shurmur and his staff were fired, George’s days with the team would not last long. He didn’t even get a chance to create a real impression on the field with the new coaching staff and was waived in March following a failed physical.
