Career stats: 109 total tackles, 7 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 3 pass breakups
Round projection: Round 2-4

Baron Browning developed a reputation in Columbus not just for being productive, but being able to make disruptive splash plays as one of the more dominant players on the Buckeyes’ defense.

Browning’s athleticism is going to help him jump up boards this spring, once teams get to watch his virtual workouts, and see that his speed and elusiveness transfer to testing results matching what he put on film.

Given that he has the chance to run the 40-yard dash in the sub-4.6 second range, Browning has the potential to be both a disruptive downhill player as well as an outstanding sideline-to-sideline linebacker in coverage at the NFL level.

The NY Giants struck gold in free agency last offseason, adding Blake Martinez at inside linebacker, and if the Giants are shopping for a young player to pair alongside him in, Browning could plug a hole as an athlete with explosive potential.
