Hey Giants, go and get a superstar receiver for your young developing quarterback, you know you want to.

Julio Jones is an undisputed top-3 receiver in terms of talent and if there is anybody who could use a change of scenery, it is him. Although he only played nine games this season due to a nagging injury, he is still Julio Jones and he should be healthy going into 2021.

The Falcons are entering a sort of rebuild/retool phase in their franchise, and Jones does not seem to be a part of that plan moving forward for Atlanta. Trading Jones and maybe even Matt Ryan could be on the table as they potentially draft a young quarterback in the upcoming draft.

So, why not trade a 31-year-old receiver for some extra draft capital to maybe move up or draft some more defense, it makes sense for the Falcons to trade him, and for the Giants, why not take a chance.

We all know this by now, the NY Giants need a true deep-threat No. 1 receiver if we want to see Daniel Jones develop as a quarterback. Julio Jones is one of the best deep threat, go up and get it receivers not just in the league, but in the history of the NFL.

The same logic applies in that Jones covers all the bases you need in a receiving core similar to Alshon Jeffrey, except Julio Jones is much much better than Jeffrey. While Jones may not be as consistent of a touchdown catcher as some may like to see, he is still a game-changer everywhere on the field and a nightmare for opposing cornerbacks.

Now, to be realistic, this may be very difficult to do considering the NY Giants cap space situation as Jones holds a 23 million dollar cap hit in 2021. But if the Giants were able to somehow clear the room and offer some picks, there is no reason they should not jump on that opportunity.

Julio Jones in a NY Giants jersey is probably a pipe dream in reality, but if it is possible, it would be a lot of fun to watch in this NFC East. Not many defenses in this division would have an answer for the superstar receiver and his numbers should be some of the best we have seen from him in a while if the Giants were to acquire him.

For Daniel Jones, the Jones to Jones connection would be perfect for the young quarterback’s development. A guy as talented as him can make the players around him better and that includes the quarterback especially young ones in their development.

Will this or most of these trades happen? Most likely not, but the possibility of this going down would change the Giants in a good way or even a bad way if Julio Jones is not healthy. But one thing is for sure, The NY Giants have plenty of options heading into this offseason.

Trade Package: Giants get Julio Jones/Falcons get 11th pick, 2021 4th round, and 2022 6th round picks
