Super Bowl LV (55) between the NFL’s AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs and NFC Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with the Vince Lombardi Trophy on the line will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2021 (2/7/21) at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, at 6:30 p.m. on CBS.
The defending champion Chiefs, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce, and head coach Andy Reid look to prevent quarterback Tom Brady from winning his seventh Super Bowl, and first as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In the AFC Championship Game, Mahomes and the Chiefs dominated Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills, 38-24 at Arrowhead Stadium, while the Buccaneers won their third consecutive road playoff game, over the Green Bay Packers 31-26 in the NFC Championship Game at Lambeau Field.
Tampa Bay is the first team to ever play a Super Bowl game in their home stadium.
This year’s Super Bowl halftime show will feature The Weeknd.
