Round 4, pick No. 116: Rodarius Williams, CB – Oklahoma State

Size: 6-foot, 193 pounds

Career stats: 169 total tackles, two interceptions, 31 pass breakups, one forced fumble

Williams has the prototypical size and length that defensive coordinators covet in outside cornerbacks, and while he could use some time to develop, might ultimately wind up capable of pushing for a starting job opposite Pro Bowler James Bradberry.

One of the more aggressive cornerbacks in coverage in the Big XII, Williams has shown an ability to make plays in man-to-man coverage as well as in zone. Fluid hips and quick-twitch acceleration helped Williams keep pace deep downfield and he was often reluctant to bite on double-moves, which shows that he can be coached not to give up big plays over the top.

Given the Giants’ need for an outside cornerback, matching value for need might make Williams an ideal target if he is on the board in Round 4.
