Round 6, pick No. 202: Michael Menet – G/C, Penn State

Size: 6-foot-4 and 306 pounds

Menet entered the 2021 NFL Draft after ascending to become one of the most consistently dominant centers in the Big Ten in 2021.

A four-year starter for the Nittany Lions, Menet has experience playing both center and guard, which would be a welcomed infusion of high-upside versatility along the interior of the Giants’ offensive line.

Menet has a gritty mean streak up front, with sound fundamentals that has really raised his draft stock. If Menet tests well during Penn State’s pro day, he could rise even higher.

The Giants would need to continue to add quality starting caliber depth along the offensive line in front of Watson, if they made a trade, even more so if veteran guard Kevin Zeitler is released as a salary cap casualty, and Menet immediately fills a pressing void.
