4) Israel Mukuamu

If the Giants are looking for size in an outside cornerback, Mukuamu fits the bill and then some.

Mukuamu, 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, is a wildly intriguing cornerback prospect who held his own in the SEC pressure-cooker.

While Mukuamu lacks high-end speed, he makes up for it with aggressiveness and physicality at the line of scrimmage, where he thrives as a press-man cornerback. If the Giants are aiming to turn up the heat with blitz packages and pressure next season, Mukuamu might be just what the doctor ordered to slow down receivers at the line, throw them off their routes, and allow the rushers to get home.

In a defense where Bradberry frequently traveled last season, using Mukuamu against an opponent’s No. 2 receiver might be an intriguing weapon, particularly after he intercepted seven passes in his collegiate career.
