The NFL’s legal tampering period begins Monday, with the new league-year beginning Wednesday as free agency opens, offering the NY Giants an opportunity to further fortify a young roster.

Much like a majority of the league, the NY Giants will have limited cap space to shop at the top of the market, so general manager Dave Gettleman will need to be targeted in his approach to plugging glaring holes at wide receiver, along the offensive line, bolstering the pass-rush, and others.

Currently the NY Giants have just $4.368 million in cap space.

However, Gettleman and the NY Giants can clear up additional cap space by restructuring the the contracts of left tackle Nate Solder, tight end Evan Engram, and agreeing to a long-term deal with recently tagged defensive lineman Leonard Williams, among others.
